Haley Peck has been treating Functional Medicine patients for over 4 years, helping them change their lives through holistic means of healing and breaking them out of the cycle of disease. She believes in a holistic approach to nutrition and wellness by treating the body as a whole. Starting out as a Functional Medicine nutritionist with her roots in clinical nutrition, Haley developed her own healing protocols, diet plans and detoxes to help address the root causes of disease for her patients. As a graduate of Kansas State University she holds her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Human Nutrition with an emphasis in business management. Haley has worked in various healthcare settings educating adults, children, and community shelters in need to help them change their lives through nutrition and breaking the cycle of disease.
Haley strongly believes that physical wellness affects mental health, and vise-versa. In many of her nutrition counseling sessions, she found herself identifying unhealthy mental patterns in patients that were in turn affecting patients' outlook on nutrition and self-care. To break this cycle, Haley began exploring business and education opportunities that helped bridge the gap between nutrition and mental health. This is when Haley founded Young Wellness Therapy.
Young Wellness Therapy was created by Haley as an outlet for nutritionists and counselors to collaborate to formulate a custom mind-body wellness plan for patients. Partnering with Grapevine Functional Medicine, Young Wellness Therapy provides an additional space for patients to treat underlying root causes of disease.
